At Sequoia Family Dental, we understand that our patients have busy lives, plans can change, and emergencies do happen. We ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancelling or rescheduling an appointment, as a courtesy to both our staff and fellow patients. Our office policy is not in place as a punishment, but rather to ensure that the time we set aside in our schedule is valued and respected. For specifics regarding our appointment policy, please read our online form or contact our office with any questions.

Our office periodically offers new patient specials for those without insurance, and senior citizen discounts as well. Additionally, we accept CareCredit as a financing option. Please call and ask to speak to our office manager Lacey for any financial questions.

Most dental insurance plans will cover 100% for cleanings, 80% for fillings, and 50% for major work such as crowns. However, plans can vary greatly depending on what tier of coverage you have. Contact our office manager Lacey to get a detailed breakdown of what your specific plan covers.

You can usually expect a one-hour appointment for your first visit. However, depending on any additional work that might need to be done, your future appointment lengths will vary. In most cases where we expect a procedure to take longer than usual, we will let you know beforehand.

We don’t want financial issues to prevent you from getting the dental treatment you need, so we offer different ways for our patients to pay for needed procedures.

Your insurance plan dictates if there is a copay for any given procedure, and how much the copay will be. Most insurances cover 100 percent for cleanings, checkup exams, and x-rays, but all plans are different. Please call and ask to speak to our office manager Lacey with any financial questions. You may also contact your insurance carrier to find out what your specific plan covers.
