Our team of professionals seeks to build a lifelong connection with our patients and their families. This is why patients love our practice, as evidenced by some patients who have been traveling to our office from their homes hours away for many years.

Dr. Thien Van Tran
Dr. Tran is a native of Massachusetts and graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He spent several years practicing general and cosmetic dentistry in New Hampshire and California before returning home to establish Sequoia Family Dental in Canton, MA.
Dr. Tran and his professional team are committed to providing quality care in a friendly, comfortable setting. The patients are his priority, and he works to design practical treatment options to address the needs and concerns of each individual patient.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Tran enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying out new restaurants, and taking long walks on the beach.
This Canton native used to work as a dental assistant, but now she keeps Sequoia Family Dental running smoothly as the office manager. Trained at Porter and Chester Institute, Lacey has been with the practice for five years. She enjoys her work, particularly building relationships with patients, helping them become comfortable with being at the dentist, and working together with a great team of people.
Outside of work, Lacey can often be found spending time with family and friends, trying out new restaurants, baking, and camping.
Amy received her training at the Community College of Rhode Island, where she was also a member of the Honor Society. Although with the practice for just one year, she has been working with Dr. Tran for four years. The best parts of Amy’s job include helping patients to understand the importance of dental care as it relates to good overall health and making sure patients have some fun at their dental appointment.
When she is not working, this Norton native spends time raising chickens, driving her antique truck, and supporting her husband’s racing car hobby.
